We work according to the Federal Fair Housing Act

According to the Federal Fair Housing Act, it is an act of illegality to discriminate against any person based on color, sex, family status, race, religion, handicap or origin in the below-mentioned affairs:

  1.   Renting or selling of the residential property.
  2.   Marketing of the house for rent and sell
  3.   Providing a loan to avail the property including a mortgage
  4.   Providing brokerage service
  5.   Housing appraisal
  6.   Blockbusting

If you have been discriminated against by the federal Fair Housing Act policy, you may register a complaint to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under below numbers:

It is also illegal to discriminate against any transaction such as a mortgage loan as per the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA):

  1. Based on color, origin, marital status, sex, race, age or religion
  2. Based on the applicant’s income or part of income is by public assistance
  3. Or based on the fact, an applicant has used the Consumer Credit Protection Act right 

If you have been discriminated against by ECOA policy, you have the right to contact the Federal Trade Commission.

Virginia Fair Housing Law

According to the Virginia Fair Housing Law, it is an act of illegality for any mortgage lender to discriminate against any person based on color, sex, family status, race, religion, age (55 or older) handicap, or origin.
